Let's face it, when it comes to things we want, we all know what it takes to get them. Whether or not we want to do the things that it takes is a different story, which brings me to today's topic: inaction.
Why is it that we can have all of the necessary resources, the ideas and talent to make something happen, yet, we sit back and do nothing about it? So many of us have a list of reasons (more like, excuses) that hold us back, but in reality the only thing that has such power to hold you back is you. Take Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example. Together, these two artists have enough money to sit back and never do a thing for the rest of their days should they choose to, but instead, they keep working on their craft. More over, they did the necessary things to get them to where they are today. Without the action, hard work, and the sacrifices, they wouldn't have been able to achieve their ultimate goal of being mentioned in this blog (okay so that may not have been their "ultimate" goal, but I'm sure it was high on the priority list). The bottom line is that we all have our own personal brilliance waiting to be discovered. But until we take action, our dreams will just be a "what-if" instead of a "what-is".
